Style Scouting: Vol. 45 | In My Own Style
It’s Sunday, that means it’s time for Style Scouting.
This week I got 5 projects done which feels pretty awesome. I posted one already about my summer mantel. I was able to get them all done by “Batch DIYing”. Batch cooking has really made a difference for me, so I figured why not try it for getting projects done.
Instead of working on one project/blog post at a time until completion, I got 3 done in one day. Win/Win! 🙂 If you have never tried “batching” your work, it can really be a time saver.
Early in the week, I read my June horoscope. It said exactly what I have been planning on doing in June, so I when I read it (above), it reinforced my plans to slow down. Slow down to catch up on backend blog tasks that have fallen through the cracks for way too long. I think my stars are aligned. 🙂
Have you ever followed your horoscope? I think it is fun and reminds me of the late 1960’s when I was a pre-teen and horoscopes were very popular. Find your June horoscope and see if your stars are aligning. 🙂

Now that it is summer and my legs and arms are exposed, I use and love this bath soap. It makes my aging skin look and feel better. I buy it at Walmart and TJ Maxx.
I finished this book last week and I just started this thriller. What books have you read and enjoyed lately? Please let me know in the comments as I would like to replenish my summer reading list.
